I was very impressed with Dr. E transparency regarding her son who is non-verbal with a high level of intelligence and an avid reader. I was also impressed with the lesson her son's teacher learned for assuming non-verbal children are not intelligent. Many assume that people with certain titles and positions live in a perfect world, but as we witnessed many of us have some type of family matters, we deal with every day.
