Hi OCTers,

Welcome to the August 5^th session of the Online Certification Training.  I am Rochelle Johnson.  I'm pleased to be your facilitator for this 3-week OCT session. Put your gym shoes on! We will be running through this accelerated training. This is a totally online course. I will do a lecture/question and answer on Thursdays at 10:30 am.

Since this training is only three weeks we will mainly focus on adding content to the course shell that you are teaching this Fall so gather your materials and think about what you will teach in your first two lessons.  Note: If you are teaching in the Fall, you should have a shell for that course in Moodle.  You will use that course to complete the training. If you are teaching more than one course, pick one to complete the Moodle Assignments" for this training. Just let me know which one you are using.

If you have taught a course in Moodle in the past and want to move the content from that class to complete the Moodle activities for this training yo can absolutely do that. Use the "Ask Me Anything" link in the training course if you need help.

Don't yet have your CSU email credentials? No problem! You can participate in the training using this link. You will however, need to contact me so that I can create a Moodle shell for you to complete your "Moodle Assignments".

In order to receive a certificate of completion, You will need to complete the various activities in the training as well as the "Moodle Activities" .
