The Intro to GIS course (Fall 2022) is a prerequisite for the GIS for Homeland Security course that will be taught during Spring 2023. Students who enroll in the GIS for Homeland Security course during Spring 2023 will be eligible to receive credit for the CJ 4350 or CJ 5350 Research Design in Criminal Justice course. Again:
For Undergraduate students
- FALL 2022 = CJ-UG students with an interest in GIS should enroll in the GEOG 4800.51 Intro to GIS course as an elective for Fall 22 and as a prerequisite for GEOG 4805.51 GIS Hmlnd Sec Crim Jus offered SP 23.
- SPRING 2023 = CJ-UG students who enroll in GEOG 4805.51 in SP 23 will be eligible to receive a Course Adjustment to honor the course as a substitute for CJ 4350 Research Design in Criminal Justice.
For Graduate students
- FALL 2022 = CJ-GR students with an interest in GIS should enroll in the GEOG 5800.51 Intro to GIS course as an elective for Fall 22 and as a prerequisite for GEOG 5805.51 GIS Hmlnd Sec Crim Jus offered SP 23.
- SPRING 2023 = CJ-GR students who enroll in GEOG 5805.51 in SP 23 will be eligible to receive a Course Adjustment to honor the course as a substitute for CJ 5350 Research Design in Criminal Justice.
