Investigation and research of the major areas of safety and injury prevention to include the areas of motor vehicle, pedestrian, home, personal protection, firearm, recreation, fire, school, natural/man-made disasters, and occupational hazards. Training in the proper safety techniques, which are needed in today’s modern technological society. This class cannot be used as an elective in the graduate physical education program. This course can be used towards the health endorsement.
