Grading is oftentimes the least enjoyable part of being a teacher.  From the countless hours and frustration spent grading assignments and quizzes to the headaches induced by calculating and weighting averages.

Luckily, Moodle can help reduce much of that frustration.

The Grades feature in Moodle allows you to set up an online gradebook that does a lot of the grading legwork for you.  Some functions, such as grading quizzes and calculating weighted averages, can be done automatically, saving you valuable time.  Additionally, grades are available to for students to view anytime they wish, giving everyone greater peace of mind. Please keep in mind that while the Moodle gradebook can help with grading, official grades must be entered in Banner.
